El Koshk. Bringing Egypt to New York
This project was inspired by street vendors who came to Egypt in search of the American Dream. And where is the American Dream the most present? Well the answer is pretty clear to me… grocery stores. I created products to be put in grocery stores that allows people to get a little taste of what it’s to be in Egypt.
Condiments.
Have you ever heard someone say “hold back the sauce”? I haven’t. I made all of Egypt’s dishes and sauce into sauce form to become the perfect dipping sauce for your fries. Besides, Ketchup is so boring nowadays.
Two words. Instant Koshary
What is better than Koshary that can be made in minutes? The designs are inspired by the carb loaded-flavorful ingredients of Koshary.
Drinks are essential.
Arousa tea is a hand picked black tea. An ahwa staple. Why not not make it iced? A bottled water is a must nowadays- and because you are not Egytian if you don’t drink from the Nile- so now everyone can.
